To lead workshops for children and young adults with additional and complex needs as part of the learning for life day services and to lead the organic(biodynamic) garden that grows a range of vegetables, berries, herbs and flowers. The support and learning provided are expected to be: responsive to the identified needs set out in the referral; provided in a professional manner; in accordance to the best practice standards of the subject of the workshops; provided at the times agreed and designed to help to make some change (outcomes) for the children and young people attending the garden. The lead gardener will further develop growing the produce and maintain and develop the garden to suit the learning needs of the children and young people attending, the demand of the internal and external community as well as providing quality organic/biodynamic and seasonal produce all year round.
