Position Type: Part-Time, Permanent (20 hours per week)

Closing Date: 30-11-2024

Working on our Murtle Estate (Bieldside), your primary task will be to prepare the lunchtime meal for a residential household. In doing so the following considerations must be made:

  • There may be pupils in the house so particular attention must be paid to health and safety
  • There will be some special dietary requirements to cater for
  • All meals should be healthy and nutritional
  • You will be required to ensure that the kitchen is left clean and tidy

Prior experience is desirable but not essential as support and training will be provided where necessary.

Hours of work for this position are Monday - Friday 9.00 a.m. – 1.00 p.m.

Stable Hand - weekend Horse/pony care

Position Type:

Closing Date: 30-11-2024

A vacancy has arisen within the CSA Land Team for someone to
look after our ponies and horses during weekends and annual
leave.
The role involves looking after our 3 ponies and one horse during
weekends and when the Stable workshop leader is on annual
leave.
It means coming to the Stables once or twice a day to do a variety
of tasks including checking their health, moving them inside or to
the field, feed and poo pick.

Education Learning Lead

Do you have:

• Full GTC Scotland/relevant registration/qualification(s)
• Management/supervisory experience
• Experience of working in an educational setting with children and young people with additional support needs
• Demonstrable experience of collegiate working with other services and outside agencies
• Knowledge/evidence of working to learning outcomes/targets
• Evidence of excellent report writing and recording
• Evidence of excellent verbal communication skills
• Current knowledge and understanding of Protection of Vulnerable Groups’ legislation
• Holding PVG membership for work with children and vulnerable adults
• Ability to recognise, act upon and create opportunities to achieve school objectives
• Commitment to high attainment and achievement for all children
• Commitment to working in partnership with parents, local services and outside agencies

Internal SVQ Assessor

Position Type: Part-time (as and when required)

Camphill School Aberdeen is currently looking for candidates to become internal SQA Assessors.


In this role you would be responsible for conducting assessment of SVQ candidates undertaking regulated vocational qualifications up to SCQF level 9 and carrying out internal verification of SVQ awards in compliance of CSA’s policy and procedures.


Do you currently have a completed SVQ in any of the below ?


• SVQ Social Services and Healthcare SCQF Levels 6, 7 or 9
• SVQ Social Services (Children & Young People) SCQF Levels 6, 7 or 9


Would you be willing to undertake the SVQ Qualification in Assessment L&D9di or L& D 11 ?

  • A background and/or qualification in a therapeutic movement discipline
  • Some experience or an interest in working with people with additional support needs, such as autism, neurodiverse needs, ASD, Ideally a background related to anthroposophical therapeutic or educational work.
  • An interest in exploring the Anthroposophic medical approach to human development and physiology
